Vinprom Yambol JSC

Vinprom Yambol is one of the oldest wineries in South Bulgaria with more than 80 years of tradition in wine-making and distilled spirits production. Established in 1924 it now has modern wineries in the towns of Yambol and Straldja. The production facilities and the vineyards are located along the valley of the Tundzha river. This land is unique with specific microclimate – mild winter and moderately hot summer which is a prerequisite for the uniform ripening of the grapes and their vinification to high-quality wines and wine distillates. The total capacity for grape processing amounts to over 16 million kg and the storage capacity is over 18 million litres. The company owns 5000 decares of vineyards, mainly planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and has a priority in investments for revitalizing and planting of another 8000 decares of high yield vines.

Vinprom Yambol is a leading exporter of fine red and white wines with main brands VILLA YAMBOL and PERSONA which attract consumers with an elegant design and high quality. The brands deliver the true potential of the Thracian Valley region - ripe full flavoured wines.

Yambol Winery is proud with the fact that the first Muscat rakia (grape brandy) in Bulgaria was distilled right there and now Straldjanska Muscat Matured Rakia is highly appreciated both by consumers and experts. The products of the company have been awarded many times on prestigious international wine competitions in Great Britain, Germany, France, USA, Bulgaria, etc. The HACCP and ISO 9001:2000 international certification is a guarantee for the constant high quality of all the company's products.
